Muslin Raggedy Angel Ornie

While I made this pattern myself - I do not take credit for it - the original pattern is by Primraggs Primitive & Homespun Raggedies
It is offered as a free download - but my printer is not hooked up yet - as I need more memory added first. I was too impatient to try this to wait for my daughter to print it out for me - she only goes on the computer once a month - sometimes less. I traced the head out using a small coffee can lid onto paper - used the paper for my pattern. I folded a piece of paper in half lengthwise, and with my scissors cut out a half heart shape - open the paper and you have a whole heart. The bottom was rounded instead of pointed. I now had wings! I think it's so cute! These prim raggedy angels can be made into tree ornaments, fridge magnets, and would make really cute bow toppers when you are wrapping those Christmas presents. This one may be larger than the original pattern - I'm not sure since I don't have it - this one measures 10 inches long by 5 inches high.
I still do plan to use Primraggs' pattern - and I want to thank her for offering it as a free download! :)

  1. NeeNee, she's very cute.

  2. You did a great job on her! I have pics ready to go for a post about Brenda's free patterns, but just haven't gotten to it yet. Her patterns are about 2 inches tall... maybe a little less. If you would like, I would be happy to print it for you and mail it to you! You did a great job on yours!

  3. Thanks Linda and Donna :)

Donna - yes, I would be most interested in Brenda's patterns - thanks so much!

  4. I was just cleaning out my pattern box and came across these patterns again - which made me think of this post that you had made! If you still would like a copy of them, please send me a pm through the forum that we both belong to or email me through my blog and give me your address so that I can get them in the mail to you!

  5. Thanks so much Donna - I will be contacting you :)
