The mice are multiplying I now have four
At the rate they are mating, we'll soon have more!
Okay, so I'm not a poet, lol
I just have a thing for mice lately, big, small, grungy, cutesy, white, brown, black, just so they aren't real!
Here's a closeup of what I call Harvest Pumpkin Mouse

He's sitting inside an orange homespun pumpkin that I stained and inserted some curly rusty wire into then glued some Spanish moss and faux leaves to.  I made two tiny pumpkins that are attached to the moss.
My mouse also has a rusty wire with 2 small rusty bells around his neck.  He was made with Warm 'n Natural that I coffee/vanilla stained and then stuffed.  He has nice long whiskers too!

Remember The Mice?

I had to finish making up the grandkids their mice in Christmas stockings before I could work on other mice projects and I just finished those up yesterday.  I made one in burgundy, one in dark green and one in caramel so they can tell their stockings apart.
Today I put my little mouse inside a vintage baby shoe with some eucalyptus, dried babysbreath and a dark burgundy dried flower.  I think it turned out pretty cute for my first one.

I had to downsize the mouse to fit in the shoe.  The same mouse I used for the stockings was really far too big.
I didn't have any gray wool felt on hand so I used some Warm 'n Natural and then stained it with coffee and vanilla.  It really took a long time to dry, but it was worth waiting for.  I used white upholstery thread for the whiskers and the coffee stain made them look more 'natural' and stiffer.  I'll be putting this one on eBay and then will make a few more for Etsy and my EZshoppe.

Primitive Style Mini Sun / Flower Garland

I just listed this 24 inch long mini sunflower garland on eBay
There are 18 flowers - double backed
Can be hung on shelves, cabinets, windows, over curtains, on fireplace mantles - use your imagination!
There are loops for hanging ( I used those clear plastic tablecloth clips to hang this one on my jelly cabinet and curio cabinet.

a close-up of the flowers
I had one eBay viewer ask me if I didn't think my price was a bit high on this item and I responded that no, I did not, the 18 flowers took quite some time to sew, stuff, bake and then sew again onto the jute thread that my time is also figured into the cost, not just the materials I use.
Maybe this item won't sell this week, but I'll relist if it doesn't and it WILL sell when the right buyer comes along.
