Re: Butterfinger Dessert - raw eggs concern

My friend Bev was concerned about the raw eggs used in this recipe.  I called my daughter to double check on the recipe she used and hers said that you could substitute vanilla pudding (not instant - the one you cook on stove)  for the eggs.  Just follow cooking directions and use the milk that is in the dessert recipe for the pudding.

  1. You can also use "egg beaters" or other egg substitutes, they are pasturized and are safe to use in that sort of recipe.
