I Won A Giveaway! & Hanging Goose

I was very excited to have been chosen the winner of
Dani - Eagles Wings Blog giveaway.

I loved how Dani had my goodies wrapped up.  Don't they look purty??

Thanks so much for choosing my entry Dani!  I LOVE everything!!

A couple days ago I finished up this hanging goose for a customer.  The pattern is by Hidden In The Attic.
I love how it turned out and will be making another one to add to my selling blog.
I wish I would have had a better place to hang this for the photo, but you get the idea.  I believe the customer is going to hang it on her fireplace.

This is the underside of the goose.  He looks more 'prim' than the photos show.
The pattern called for hanging the goose with twine, but my customer wanted 'feet' so I used some twigs.  The goose hangs by the X on the legs.

It's time to purchase new carpeting.  As you can see in this photo it's burgundy and 12 years old now.  It's starting to buckle and wear.  I want something more 'neutral' in a med. brown shade. I got estimates from 2 carpet places and it's going to be a tough decision.  The one place has a plush carpet called Gingerbread that we love and the other one has a plush called Bumble Bee ( weird name - the color reminds me of caramel ) that we also love.  The first carpet place might be willing to come down on price and that will determine who we go with, as warranties and customer service are identical.

8 more days left to enter my giveaway Witch Hat With Crows on my selling blog

Hope all is well with you.

  3. Congratulations, you received some awesome prizes!!! Enjoy!!!

  4. Hey good for you on your win! Your goose looks nice and prim. You should make some pheasants too to hang on a fowl board.
